6:00 AM-11:00 AM We are looking for an experienced, dependable Kitchen Cook & Baker for an early-morning café kitchen position. This is a hands-on role focused on baking, cooking, food prep, and cleaning . Responsibilities Bake daily baked goods and menu items Cook and prepare food for daily café service Prep ingredients and food needed for the day Clean and maintain the kitchen, equipment, work surfaces, dishes, and prep areas Properly label, date, store, and rotate food and ingredients Monitor inventory and communicate when ingredients or supplies are running low Follow food-safety and sanitation standards Ensure food and baked goods are prepared and ready for service Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen throughout the shift Requirements Previous professional cooking and/or baking experience is required Must be 18 years of age or older Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to communicate effectively in English for workplace, safety, and food-preparation instructions Comfortable handling both cooking and baking responsibilities Reliable and punctual for early-morning shifts Able to work efficiently and independently Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Knowledge of food-safety and sanitation practices
