Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors safely and effectively Assist with meal preparation for service, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food Maintain proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Support the kitchen team by communicating clearly and coordinating tasks efficiently Assist with cleaning duties, including sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment after each shift Skills Food Safety Manager certification is a Plus. Good knowledge of food preparation techniques, including slicing, chopping, and cooking methods Familiarity with menu planning and recipe adherence to ensure consistency in dishes Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Previous experience in restaurant or food service industries demonstrating reliable food handling skills Effective communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams Experience with catering or large-scale meal preparation is a plus
