Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic cook to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing easy to prepare menu items, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare dishes according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing glassware and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, restocking as necessary. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive dining experience. Adhere to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as needed. Collaborate with bar staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience as a cook in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong sales skills to promote food specials and enhance customer satisfaction. Understanding of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy atmosphere.
