• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus
• Assist with menu planning and meal preparation
• Ensure food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following all food safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Assist with catering events as needed ```Skills```
• Previous experience in food preparation or a related role
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Excellent knife skills for food preparation
• Experience working in a dietary department or similar setting is a plus
• Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
