$18.50 to $22.00 per hour, paid training, no experience needed. 42 Fusion is a small Mexican and Italian restaurant on Front Street in Ballston Spa, and we are hiring a line cook. What the job is. You cook on a line that does Mexican and Italian food out of the same kitchen: tacos, enchiladas and street corn on one side, pasta, risotto and brick-oven pizza on the other. You prep before service so the line is ready when the first ticket prints, you keep your station clean and stocked, and you plate the way the chef shows you. You do not need experience. The owner trains new cooks himself, on the line. If you have worked in a kitchen before, tell us where, because it counts: you will be trusted with more, faster, and the pay goes up with it. That is what the range is for. Who does well here. Someone who likes working with their hands, stays calm when ten tickets print at once, and wants to actually learn to cook. You do not need culinary school. You need to show up on time and care. Schedule. Evening shifts starting at 4 pm, Wednesday through Monday. We are closed on Tuesdays.
