Operate food preparation equipment safely and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Assemble pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety standards and food safety regulations. Assist with meal preparation and food production for other menu items as needed. Handle heavy lifting of ingredients and supplies while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Maintain a clean, organized workstation, adhering to safety standards in production environments. Support the team during busy service times by serving customers promptly and courteously. Follow sensory evaluation methods to ensure flavor, texture, and presentation meet quality benchmarks. Qualifications Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry, especially in culinary or catering roles. Strong knife skills with knowledge of slicing techniques and food preparation methods. Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for portioning ingredients accurately and managing inventory. Experience operating food preparation equipment such as mixers, ovens, and slicers. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude during serving interactions. Knowledge of culinary techniques including cooking, food handling, and sensory evaluation. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly preferred; catering experience is a plus.
