Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols. Assist in maintaining equipment cleanliness and functionality. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in the food industry or food service environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices. Familiarity with dietary aide practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
