Spacious Kitchen Serving:
Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack for approximately 50 children Parkside Community Preschool has opened a brand‑new center, and we're looking for a part‑time Preschool Cook who loves preparing kid‑friendly meals from scratch and takes pride in running a clean, organized kitchen. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking with purpose, follows
USDA/CACFP
guidelines, and thrives in a warm, community‑centered environment. What You'll Do Prepare scratch‑made, child‑friendly meals that meet

requirements Serve breakfast, lunch, and snack daily for ~50 children Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well‑organized kitchen throughout the day Manage food inventory , storage, and rotation Follow all food safety, allergy, and sanitation protocols Collaborate with administrators and teachers to support smooth meal service What We're Looking For Experience cooking in a school, childcare, or commercial kitchen (preferred) Knowledge of
USDA/CACFP
meal patterns or willingness to learn Strong time‑management skills — meals must be ready on schedule Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and professionalism Must pass a childcare background check Growth Opportunity This position has the potential to grow into a full‑time role that includes: Menu planning Grocery shopping Expanded kitchen leadership responsibilities
