Job Description

Cooper Mountain Ale Works is a family owned and operated brewpub with two locations south of Portland. We hiring for our Sherwood location. We are committed to producing delicious food & beers that present a sense of history and authenticity. Our menu features pizza and burgers made in house, from scratch (buns, too!). We believe in taking our time to cook, brew, and eat. Quality takes time and is rewarded in the company we keep.
Requirements:
We are currently hiring a part-time Line Cook to consistently work Thursday
  • Sunday dinner shifts with closing duties.
Shifts are roughly 3pm-10pm. Qualified applicants must be available these hours. Additional shifts will become available with business fluctuations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them accurately
  • Cook and season food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food based on presentation guidelines
  • Ensure all food is stored properly and safely to maintain freshness
  • Wash dishes when appropriate and necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all timesQualifications
  • Previous experience in food handling or food service preferred
  • Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of meals
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
