Job Summary Tikka Shake Indian Grub is looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team! We serve bold, authentic Indian flavors in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and great food. Whether you're experienced with Indian cuisine or eager to learn, we want cooks who show up ready to work hard and grow with us. What You'll Do Prepare and cook food items according to restaurant recipes and quality standards. Operate the grill, fryer, stovetop, oven, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare orders accurately and efficiently during busy service periods. Maintain proper portion sizes, food quality, presentation, and consistency. Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times. Properly store, label, and rotate food and ingredients. Monitor food inventory and communicate when supplies are running low. Keep the kitchen, cooking stations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized. Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and timely service. Follow all restaurant policies and procedures. Perform other kitchen duties as needed. What We're Looking For Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and organization. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to follow recipes and instructions consistently. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
