Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas following established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all stages of food handling and preparation Assist with menu planning and ingredient ordering to ensure freshness and quality of supplies Support food production for high-volume service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders Follow food safety management protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold the restaurant's culinary standards Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment, especially in pizza or similar cuisine Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment confidently and safely Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management systems Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume production processes Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence in the food industry Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
