Full Job Description Salary Range:

$40,000.22 - $40,000.22 Works under the general supervision of the Senior Citizens Center Director to prepare and serve nutritious well-balanced meals and maintain a safe clean environment. Prepares entrees and oversees preparation of all items; collaborates with Center Director to develop monthly menu; coordinates duties and schedules of meal preparers; checks supplies; maintains and rotate inventory; prepares supply list for purchases to insure availability of all food and supplies needed to plan menus, prepare and serve meals, and clean facility; performs routine cleaning of equipment, daily washing of dishes and cooking equipment, and cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying of trash cans; notifies supervisor of repairs and maintenance work needed for kitchen and equipment; and maintains sanitary practices in accordance with Food Service Permit standards per Memphis and Shelby County Health Department.
