Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, assisting in meal assembly, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and safety. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in assembling dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold food safety standards Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure product freshness and prevent cross-contamination Support the culinary team with meal preparation during busy service hours while adhering to recipe guidelines Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep activities and ensure timely service Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly desirable Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and portion control Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food safety management practices Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately and consistently Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen team members Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the kitchen environment Supervisory skills a plus as this role will lead a small team in the kitchen on each shift Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills are valued, your growth is supported, and every day brings new opportunities to create delicious moments!
Pay:
$13.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 48.0 per week
