Food Services Cook Food Services Cook position available at Central Texas Treatment Center located in Granger, Texas. Central Texas Treatment Center is a court ordered substance abuse residential treatment facility. The Food Services Cook will assist in meal preparation for the students of the facility and ensure meals are prepared daily for the 100 students in the facility.

Essential Duties:

Prepares meals daily in accordance with sanitary procedures and nutritional standards. Train and oversee resident cook helpers in food preparation Reports important resident behaviors to the treatment team Cooks monitor the use and/or whereabouts of potentially dangerous kitchen tools to ensure residents are not able to use them inappropriately. Reports resident policy or rule infractions to the Administrative Staff Transporting residents Cooks also perform any other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager, Center Director or Assistant Center Director.

Physical Demands:

• Position involves prolonged standing, sitting, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, stooping and some lifting in the performance of daily activities.

Environmental Factors:

• Contact with persons convicted of felony crimes
• Tobacco-Free Workplace policy prohibits smoking or use of any tobacco on Williamson County premises

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma\GED
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Valid Driver license

$40,500 annually to be paid out biweekly per CSCD business operations as a condition of continued employment. Fair Labor Standers Act (FLSA)
