Job Description

PODS is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to safely deliver, pick up, and position our portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this hands-on Transportation & Logistics role, you'll operate CDL vehicles on local routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure secure, damage-free container placement. You'll interact directly with customers, provide courteous service, and solve on-site challenges while following all DOT and PODS safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL truck to deliver, pick up, and relocate PODS containers for residential and commercial customers Inspect vehicle and equipment daily, reporting and documenting any maintenance or safety issues Position, level, and secure containers using proper tools, techniques, and safety procedures Follow all
DOT/FMCSA
regulations, PODS safety policies, and local traffic laws Provide courteous, professional customer service at every stop and resolve basic service issues on-site Accurately complete electronic logs, delivery documentation, and route paperwork Communicate with dispatch and teammates to manage schedule changes, delays, and customer needs Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and contribute to a safety-focused, team-oriented culture Required Skills CDL commercial driving Safe vehicle operation Backing and positioning containers Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance
