Full-Time / Part-Time Position Summary Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards Ensure proper food quality, portion control, and presentation Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Follow food safety and storage procedures, including proper rotation (FIFO) Assist with prep work and ensure readiness for service Communicate any food quality or inventory concerns to leadership Support team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations Qualifications 1-3 years of professional culinary experience preferred High School Diploma or GED preferred; culinary training a plus Valid Food Handler Certification required (TABC certification as applicable) Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Basic communication skills Must be at least 18 years old Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism Must wear slip-resistant, closed-toe footwear Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance (full-time) Paid time off (full-time) Employee discounts on dining, retail, and resort amenities Travel discounts at Crescent Hotels & Resorts properties Associate housing and shuttle services available Career development opportunities About Horseshoe Bay Resort Horseshoe Bay Resort offers a professional culinary environment with opportunities for growth and skill development.
