As a Cook at Powder Mountain, you are the heart of our Food & Beverage operation, responsible for fueling our guests for a long day on the slopes. Operating out of our mountain lodges, you will work in a fast-paced, high-volume culinary environment. Whether you are prepping ingredients, cooking on the line during the lunchtime rush, or maintaining kitchen cleanliness, your focus will be on delivering consistent, high-quality, and delicious food while adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards.

Complete assigned tasks Help fulfill and update stock and prep lists Work with Mountain Chef and Cook 3 to continually improve operations Prepare food, sauces, and produce for meals. Keep kitchen clean, organized, orderly, well stocked. Wash dishes. Adherence to early morning starts and potential late evenings. Qualifications:

Strong understanding of the safe and proper usage and maintenance of commercial Kitchen Equipment, such as: Ovens, Grills, Fryers, Knives, Blenders, etc. Able to work in a fast-paced environment Utah Food Handlers Permit - required Cooperative and open minded outlook Willing to learn and grow as a team player Knife safety and skills Kitchen Etiquette Reliable means of transportation to commute up and down the mountain to get to work location Physical Requirements- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to: Continual use of manual dexterity for safe use of knives, slicers, mixers, pots, pans, other sharp objects, electrical shocks, etc. Full range of body movements Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy up to 40+lbs Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting (up to 8+ hours) Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain Climb/descend stairs/ladders Safely handle hazardous materials Maintain clean and professional appearance
