As a Cashier at Powder Mountain, you are often the first point of interaction for our guests, serving as a frontline ambassador for the resort. Whether you are stationed in one of our mountain lodges handling Food & Beverage transactions, assisting guests in our retail shops, or selling lift tickets, your primary responsibility is to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly service. You will handle point-of-sale (POS) operations, answer guest inquiries, and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Welcome guests to the restaurant. Maintain a clean and organized dining area. Clear tables, remove trash, replenish utensils and napkins as needed. Restock snack items, utensils, drink station, and condiments. Maintain a calm demeanor during very busy customer interactions. Be a team player and help where needed. Process payments for food and beverage items. Use a point-of-sale machine. Answer questions about terrain and lift operations. Requirements and/or

Qualifications:

Experience working in a guest facing role. Desire to be positive and motivated during busy seasons and inclement weather. Desire to work at 9,000ft in exposed weather conditions. Be polite and friendly to team members, other departments, and guests. Excellent communication skills. 21 years of age or older. Sips and Tips Certification

Working Environment:

Work is primarily performed inside, but can still be a chilly environment. Occasionally have to run outside for product. Dealing with winter weather walking to and from transportation.
