Candidates for this position will need to have a professional/courteous disposition to work with guests, team members, and vendors. As the newest and most premier estate winery/vineyard/brewery in the Central Virginia area, this will be a great opportunity for the right candidate. Hazy Mountain Vineyards & Brewery is opening our tasting room at our Afton vineyard estate 1.5 miles from the intersection of Route 151 and Route 250. With 35 acres under vine currently and more underway at our Hazy Mountain Vineyard location and 50 acres under vine in our Little North Mountain Vineyard site in the Shenandoah Valley. Hazy Mountain's new 12,000 sq. ft. tasting room, 10,000 sq. ft. venue and 5,000 sq. ft. villa on the 160 Acre Estate. Afton is also home to our 15,000 sq. ft. winery facility.

Responsibilities:

Completing orders as requested and on time Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations Prepping and setting up the kitchen at the beginning of each shift Washing and cleaning the kitchen at the end of shifts Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations Controlling food cost Responsible for maintaining inventory Ensure the building is properly secured at the close of day Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, ABC regulations,

VDACS, OSHA Qualifications:

Prior retail/restaurant experience preferred A passion and interest in wine, beer and hospitality industries Open availability
