Position Summary:
The Line Cook will set up their workstation with the required tools, equipment and supplies according to standards. You will prepare and produce menu items for the restaurant, private dining and/or bar, follow recipes and yield guides, and proper plate presentation and garnish for all dishes you produce. You will maintain the organization, cleanliness and sanitation of your work areas and equipment. Why we love working at

We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. We use industry-leading tools such as Toast, Canva, 7Shifts, Triple Seat, and Open Table.
RequirementsQualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function from the list above satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Experience, Education, and Certifications:
Education Level:
High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
Experience Level:
One year's experience as a Line Cook.
Required:
Ability to obtain a Washington State Food Handlers Certification.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Computerized P.O.S. Systems and MS Office programs. Food Safety Certification. Certification in alcohol awareness program. Certification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service. Certification in C.P.R. Customer service training. Ability to communicate in a second language.
Required Competencies:
Understand service needs. Be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when preparing food and providing service to guests within any given period. Focus on details. Maintain good coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly. Performing job functions with minimal supervision. Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Provide legible written communication. Compute basic mathematical calculations and cash handling experience. Maintain a positive, friendly and hospitable attitude toward guests and other staff.
