Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pots, poaching stations, and food prep tools Assist with menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and ensuring ingredient availability for daily specials Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques and portion control guidelines Support food production for catering events or large-scale service periods while maintaining high-volume efficiency Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and smooth kitchen operations Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within a restaurant or healthcare setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in commercial kitchens Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of dietary department procedures or experience with dietary restrictions is a plus Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs Excellent food handling skills with attention to cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards Join us if you're passionate about culinary excellence and eager to contribute your skills to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
