This individual will be working on various makes and models, new and old, domestics and exotics. No boredom here at GLCC! The Automotive Detailer plays a crucial role in the detailing operations of our automotive service department. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality vehicle cleaning and detailing services and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive detailing and knowledge of products and application skills, a committed team player, also understands the importance of providing outstanding service to our clients. Compensation based on experience. Performance Bonuses Available to the right individual. Duties Process the cosmetic enhancement of the vehicles presented for the task. Thoroughly Wash, Vac, Clean Windows, Interiors, Degrease Engine Bays, Paint Correct, Sand, Machine Polish, Wax, Ceramic Coat; etc;... As Requested per Job. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working condition. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Implement best practices for safety and cleanliness in the work environment. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations within the automotive service area. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive detailing or related fields such as car wash and superior cleaning and polishing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Familiarity with various detailing techniques including buffing and cleaning methods. Ability to remove and install various interior components and exterior trim. Valid driver's license. Knowledge of new trends, methods, tooling, materials, and practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to continued learning opportunities. Will teach and help improve the skills of the eager to learn individual.
