Job Summary Join our dynamic dealership team as our Dealership Maintenance Specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facility spotless, safe, and welcoming. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our vehicles and dealership environment, ensuring an exceptional experience for both staff and customers. Your expertise in vehicle exterior and interior detailing, combined with your commitment to safe work practices, will help uphold our reputation for quality and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in auto detailing, custodial work, and facility maintenance within a fast-paced automotive setting. Duties Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and automated car wash systems, to ensure vehicles are spotless and presentable. Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore vehicle finishes and enhance appearance. Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to deliver a fresh, clean look. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safe work practices to prevent accidents or damage. Maintain the cleanliness of the dealership's interior spaces through janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning equipment or large vehicles to ensure thorough cleaning without injury. Support the overall upkeep of the auto detailing facility by organizing supplies, managing inventory of cleaning products, and ensuring equipment is in good working order. Experience Prior experience in auto detailing or vehicle cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with standard passenger car operation including manual transmissions is a plus. Knowledge of safe work practices related to custodial or janitorial work ensures a safe working environment. Experience with automotive buffing, paint correction, or vehicle exterior washing enhances your ability to deliver high-quality results. Previous employment in auto detailing facilities or car washes demonstrates familiarity with cleaning equipment and detailing techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is essential for handling equipment or large vehicles during maintenance tasks. Strong customer service skills are valued as you may interact with staff or customers while maintaining dealership premises.
