Job Description

Auto Detailer — Growth Opportunity to Team Lead Clean Company Detailing, LLC Newport News, VA Job Details Part-time $15 - $20 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Paid training Opportunities for advancement Flexible schedule Qualifications Outdoor work experience Upselling No experience needed Cross-selling Driver's License Full Job Description Clean Company Detailing is growing, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. We're a mobile detailing company serving homeowners, dealerships, and local business fleets across Hampton Roads. We're expanding into fleet and dealership contract work, which means more steady, recurring jobs and real room to move up for the right person. We're hiring a part-time Auto Detailer with a clear path to a Crew Lead / Management role as we grow. Start hands-on learning the trade, then take on more responsibility, running jobs independently, training new hires, and eventually helping manage our fleet and dealership accounts. What you'll do: Perform full exterior washes, wheel/tire cleaning, and deep interior vacuum/wipe-downs on customer and fleet vehicles Handle light stain removal, spot cleaning, and light scratch buffing Assist with premium services (ceramic coating, paint correction) as you build skill, pay increases as you add these skills Travel to job sites (residential driveways, dealership lots, business fleet yards) and set up/break down equipment Represent Clean Company Detailing professionally, this is often the client's only face-to-face contact with our company As you grow into the role: help train new team members, run jobs solo, and take ownership of specific accounts What we're looking for: No professional detailing experience required, we'll train the right person on the actual detailing skills What we can't train: work ethic, reliability, and genuine pride in doing a job right. That matters more to us than a resume. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required, this is a mobile position) Comfortable working outdoors in Hampton Roads weather Punctual and dependable, our clients (especially dealership and fleet accounts) count on us showing up on schedule Interest in growing into more responsibility over time, this role has a real path to Crew Lead / Management, not just a line in a job ad Pay & growth: Training rate: $15/hr for your first 2 weeks while you learn Once trained: $18/hr, plus you keep 100% of tips As you add skills (ceramic coating, paint correction, upselling), your rate goes up with them, this isn't a flat rate for the life of the job, it grows as you do Clear track to a Crew Lead / Management role, including training new hires and owning specific accounts Why work here: Growing local company with expanding dealership and fleet contracts — more consistent work than a typical detail shop You're not a number here — small team, direct access to the owner, and your feedback actually changes how we do things Hands-on training, no experience necessary Flexible part-time schedule To apply — this step matters: In addition to applying here, please send a short video (60 seconds or less) to [your email/phone] introducing yourself, telling us why you're interested, and any relevant experience. We read every application, but the video is what gets you moved to the top of the list, it's the first way you can show us you pay attention to detail, which is the whole job.
