JOB TITLE

Wash Bay Technician

DEPARTMENT

Service

DESCRIPTION

Perform a variety of duties to ensure that truck and tank interiors and exteriors are properly cleaned and washed according to company procedure.

RESPONSBILITIES

Wash and detail equipment and trucks to company specifications Periodically clean interior and exterior of tanks

Note:

Some exterior washes require cleaning with acidic based cleaner (Muriatic acid) as needed or directed Help maintain a clean and safe working area daily Interior detailing of trucks Provide general assistance around the shop as needed Vinyl lettering removal and installation General wash equipment maintenance Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Ability to recognize unclean surfaces Use appropriate cleaning tools and products to complete the assigned job Ability to operate cleaning equipment and hoses Ability to drive trucks in and out of wash bay as needed Self-starter, highly motivated, effective problem solver Methodical and detail-oriented

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing, climbing, walking over extended periods of time Lifting up to 50lbs occasionally Complete tasks that may require bending, twisting, squatting, crouching and balancing #hc254855
