Job Description
Join the dietary team at South Peninsula Hospital as a Dishwasher and play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and supporting patient care.
Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment and ensure proper chemical use.
Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating kitchen supplies as needed.
Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure smooth meal service for patients and residents.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Good physical and mental health with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).Must maintain a clean, well-groomed, and professional appearance.

Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans according to hospital safety standards.Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment and ensure proper chemical use.
Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.Previous dishwashing or food service experience preferred but not required.Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Good physical and mental health with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).Must maintain a clean, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
