Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and disciplined Dishwasher & Kitchen Helper to join our back-of-house team. In this dual role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations—ensuring a spotless environment, maintaining pristine tableware, and assisting our culinary team with basic food preparation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong work ethic, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities Dishwashing & Sanitation (Primary): Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently using both commercial dishwashing machines and manual three-compartment sinks. Ensure all clean tableware and cookware are properly dried and organized in their designated storage areas. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish pit area throughout the shift. Safely handle, empty, and clean trash, recycling, and compost receptacles.
Kitchen Support & Prep:
Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks (e.g., peeling/chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients) as directed by the kitchen manager or chefs. Maintain cleanliness across the kitchen floor by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down prep surfaces/line stations regularly. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and properly storing food and supply deliveries using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method. Adhere strictly to all local health department regulations and food safety standards.
