We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team a senior living community committed to providing exceptional care and hospitality. This dual-role position supports the kitchen and dining room by ensuring cleanliness, timely meal service, and a pleasant dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent dining service to residents during mealtimes, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring a tidy environment. Interact with residents courteously and respond to their requests or concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff, caregivers, and other team members to ensure efficient and smooth dining services. Have a good understanding of the menu, including dietary restrictions and special requests, to assist residents effectively. Operate dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Ensure all dishware and kitchen tools are sanitized according to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping. Assist with trash removal and recycling processes.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role. Patience and customer-oriented approach. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude. Basic understanding of food safety guidelines and hygiene standards. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. A high school diploma is a plus.
