Full Job Description Who We Are:

In 2011, the first Miznon opened in Tel Aviv and has since expanded to Paris, Melbourne, Singapore, Toronto, Las Vegas, London. In 2018, the first U.S. Miznon opened in Chelsea Market, NYC. We use fresh, seasonally inspired ingredients to create a new kind of Mediterranean street food. Our vision is to take the flavor of each city and translate it into pita. We take the energy, the groove, the desires, the limitations, the beauty, and the food—and express it all in one pita.

Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand Sort and stack clean items in designated storage areas Pre-rinse and scrape food debris from dishes before washing Monitor dishwasher water temperature and detergent levels to ensure proper sanitation Keep the dish pit, sinks, and surrounding floor area clean, dry, and free of hazards Empty trash and recycling bins as needed Assist with basic food prep tasks when needed (e.g., washing produce) Help unload food and supply deliveries Return clean cookware and utensils to proper storage locations for cooks and servers Assist with closing duties, including deep-cleaning dish area and taking out final trash Support general kitchen organization and inventory as directed

Pay:

$18.42 per hour plus tips

Physical Requirements:

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
