Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and cooking equipment to ensure a safe and efficient food service environment. Your energetic approach will help uphold our high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations, contributing directly to the overall guest experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced restaurant environment where teamwork and cleanliness are paramount. Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils according to food safety sanitizing procedures Ensure all kitchenware and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored after use Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and supporting culinary staff Bypass dirty dishes from dining areas (bussing) to maintain a clean and organized workspace Follow strict sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards at all times Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes safely while adhering to proper ergonomic practices Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and maintaining waste disposal procedures Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation standards required Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and basic utensils safely and efficiently Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads regularly Excellent attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality standards Basic knife skills or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory Join our team where your energy fuels our success!
