In this vital role, you'll be responsible for operating dishwashing equipment, maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards, and supporting the overall food service experience. Your dedication ensures that our kitchen and dining areas are safe, sanitary, and welcoming for guests and staff alike. Duties Operate commercial dishwashing machines to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools in accordance with safety standards. Ensure all dishes and kitchenware are sanitized, organized, and stored properly for easy access by culinary staff. Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, including counters, sinks, floors, and surrounding workspaces to uphold health regulations. Support banquet and event service by providing timely cleaning and dish support during busy periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth kitchen operations, including assisting with light cleaning or food prep as required. Additional Opening Duties (AM Shift) Team members scheduled for morning dish shifts are also responsible for the opening cleaning duties throughout the restaurant. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping the front-of-house areas, cleaning and stocking restrooms, and helping ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and guest-ready before service begins. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and organization. Excellent teamwork skills; willing to assist colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
