Core responsibilities Dishwashing and sanitization: Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, and cookware using machines or by hand.

Dish storage:

Dry and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their proper places.

Kitchen maintenance:

Keep the dishwashing area, floors, and other kitchen surfaces clean and organized. Sweep, mop, and wipe down counters as needed.

Trash and waste removal:

Regularly empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles, and properly dispose of all waste.

Machine and station upkeep:

Set up dishwashing stations, ensure machines are functioning correctly, and maintain proper water temperatures and chemical levels.

Stocking:

Put up deliveries when they arrive and rotating product so oldest goes out first Food safety: Follow all sanitation guidelines, clean spills, and report any sanitation or mechanical issues to a supervisor.

Support other staff:

Assist cooks with basic food prep, receive and store deliveries, and help with closing duties as requested. Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
