Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items are hygienic and safe for food handling Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including ingredient handling and portioning Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishware to the kitchen for cleaning Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Adhere to kitchen health and safety standards, including proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting protocols Support sanitation efforts by regularly disinfecting surfaces and ensuring compliance with food safety management practices Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely Excellent organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail Experience with food handling, knife skills, or catering/buffet service is a plus A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and safely.
