Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual cleaning methods to meet sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sanitizing work surfaces, sinks, and storage areas regularly in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures. Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives for prep work and other small appliances required for food handling. Handle heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment safely following manual handling protocols to prevent injury. Follow all kitchen health and safety standards diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Assist with food safety management practices by adhering to proper food handling procedures during prep and service. Contribute to maintaining high sanitation levels through routine cleaning schedules and compliance with sanitation regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued.
