Oddfellows in Chagrin Falls is on the hunt for a dishwasher to join our quirky, hard-working crew! The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall success of our restaurant operations, supporting both the culinary team and front-of-house staff. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing kitchen supplies. Support the culinary team by keeping the kitchen stocked with clean dishes and utensils throughout service. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by disposing of waste properly and cleaning spills promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus, including knowledge of culinary practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management. A willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the kitchen as needed.
