Rotating weekends. Come and work in a brand new fabulous facility with state-of-the-art equipment, assisting our team to provide fresh and tasty meals to our residents. Excellent time management is a must, as our meals must be delivered on time. Having a 'team' mentality is a basic requirement, we'll teach you the rest!Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes
- Ensure all meals are served on time and at the appropriate temperature
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with bussing and cleaning tables as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize waste
- Assist with special dietary requests or restrictions as necessary
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or dietary department preferred
- Knowledge of food service procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals according to specific dietary requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Culinary training or certification is a plus, but not required This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about culinary arts and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
