Your energetic approach will ensure that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional food experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in food service, catering, and hospitality while contributing to a lively and fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items for easy access by kitchen staff Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support the culinary team Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety, and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during busy shifts Basic understanding of catering, banquet service, or hotel kitchen operations is a plus Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your dedication ensures smooth operations behind the scenes.
