Dishwasher

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team at The Maple Kitchen in Brownsville, VT. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, cookware, utensils, and the kitchen environment. Your work will ensure our guests receive meals on clean, well-presented tableware and help keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand as needed Properly load and unload dishwashing machines Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dish area, and equipment Ensure all kitchenware is cleaned, sanitized, and stored in appropriate locations Remove garbage and recycling and clean garbage containers regularly Follow proper sanitation and food safety guidelines at all times Assist with basic kitchen prep or maintenance tasks when required Notify management of any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns Support other kitchen team members as needed to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of items up to 40 lbs Exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead regularly About HHS HHS is a private, family-owned business dedicated to caring for its team members and providing honest, quality-driven customer service.
