Warmly greets and welcomes guests upon arrival. Offers amenities such as umbrellas, towels, refreshments, etc. Answers general questions about property and amenities. May escort guests to/from pool facility areas. 2. Cleans and sets dining areas on the pool deck as directed. Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable environment for our guests. Maintains a flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining areas of the department. 3. Maintains cleanliness of pool areas and equipment, including the pool deck, cabanas, daybeds, lounge chairs and pool towels. Disposes of trash left on the pool deck. Stocks towels, linens, supplies, and amenities in the pool areas. Provides towel service to pool guests as needed and assigned. 4. Maintains knowledge of available amenities and upcoming events related to the pool, outlets and hotel. 6. Completes pre, running and post shift side-work requirements (i.e. rollups, condiments, etc.) as directed. 7. Immediately reports any noted repairs or maintenance of recreation or public areas. 8. Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority, otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. Notifies management of any problems resulting from member complaints, intoxication or disruptive behavior. 9. Must wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes. What You Will Bring Welcomes and attends to recreation needs of all pool guests. Assists pool guests with use of pool facilities and amenities to include but not limited to showers, cabanas, daybeds, lounge chairs and pool towels. Ensures pool area is kept clean and appropriately supplied according to department procedures and standards to exceed guest satisfaction. Assists pool servers with delivering food and beverages to pool guests. Great If you have Prior food service experience desired. Prior related experience in a hotel or pool environment preferred. A basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette. A positive attitude and professional demeanor. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and commitment to a high level of guest satisfaction. No formal education required.
