Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic part-time Pool Attendant to join our hospitality team at a premier resort. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for guests of all ages. Your duties will include maintaining the pool area clean, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and experience in hospitality or customer service environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to memorable guest experiences while promoting safety and enjoyment at our resort. Responsibilities Monitor pool area continuously to ensure guest safety and enforce pool rules and regulations. Assist guests with pool access, provide information about amenities, and address inquiries promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, chairs, and surrounding areas to uphold hygiene standards. Respond effectively to emergencies or conflicts, including administering basic first aid or notifying appropriate personnel. Manage guest interactions with professionalism, including handling complaints or concerns with tact. Support event management by coordinating poolside activities or special events as needed. Greet guests, provide pool towels, and assist with seating arrangements. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the pool facility. Promote a positive atmosphere by engaging with guests and encouraging safe participation in pool activities. Experience Familiarity with event management, food service operations, and hospitality standards. Ability to work effectively with children and manage diverse guest needs. Strong communication skills suitable for public speaking and guest interaction. Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally.
