Job Description
Company Overview The Woods is a family-owned recreational facility that offers a wide range of outdoor and indoor amenities, including golf courses, pools, tennis courts, and an indoor sports center. Established in 1976, the club is dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for members and guests alike through a vibrant community atmosphere. Position Summary The Golf Cart Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing, cleaning, staging, and maintaining the golf cart fleet while ensuring golfers have a welcoming and enjoyable experience. This position also assists with practice facility operations and helps maintain the appearance of the golf course clubhouse area. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner. Assist golfers with loading and unloading clubs. Provide information regarding course rules, pace of play, and daily operations. Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the overall golf experience. Golf Cart Operations Clean, wash, and sanitize golf carts after each use. Inspect carts for damage, cleanliness, battery charge, and mechanical issues. Fuel carts as needed. Stage carts neatly and ensure they are ready prior to tee times. Report maintenance issues promptly. Rotate carts to maximize fleet life and battery performance. Practice Facility Pick and clean driving range balls. Operate range equipment safely. Restock range balls throughout the day. Keep the practice tee, bag drop, and surrounding areas clean and organized. Course & Clubhouse Support Wash and organize rental clubs. Empty trash receptacles around the clubhouse, cart area, and practice facilities. Maintain cleanliness of the cart barn and staging area. Launder golf towels Restock towels, scorecards, pencils, sand bottles, and other golfer amenities. Assist with outside tournament operations and special events. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Expectations Valid driver's license required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized cart fleet. Ensure carts are available and ready for scheduled tee times. Maintain a professional appearance and represent The Woods in a positive manner. Follow all company policies, safety procedures and operating standards. Operate and care for all golf carts, rental equipment, and company property safely, responsibly, and respectfully. Schedule Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Part-time position. Working Conditions Frequent exposure to heat, cold, rain, humidity, and sunlight. Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Employee Recreational Membership is a benefit.
