Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Recreation Manager to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of diverse recreational activities and events. This role is pivotal in creating engaging experiences for guests, managing staff, and ensuring smooth operational flow. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and experience in event management and operational oversight. As a Recreation Manager, you will foster a vibrant environment that promotes guest satisfaction, team collaboration, and efficient venue management. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee a variety of recreational programs and events that cater to diverse guest interests and enhance overall guest experience. Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of staff members, including scheduling shifts and providing training. Manage daily operations of the recreation facility or event venue, including coordinating logistics, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring cleanliness and organization. Ensure efficient resource allocation to meet financial targets while maintaining exceptional service standards. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly with a focus on customer service excellence, and foster positive relationships with visitors to promote repeat engagement. Maintain accurate records through report writing on event outcomes, staff performance, safety incidents, and operational metrics. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Skills Experience in recreation management is welcomed but not required. Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience supervising teams and managing staff effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for report writing, scheduling, and communication purposes. Excellent managerial communication skills to convey expectations clearly and motivate team members. Knowledge of technical systems related to event venues or recreational facilities for operational efficiency. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
