Events Manager for the Alaska Airlines Center 533509 Anchorage, Alaska, United States On Campus Staff Full-time Grade 79 UAA VCAS Business Services Add to favorites View favorites The University of Alaska Anchorage, Division of Campus Services, seeks an Events manager to oversee all event aspects of the Alaska Airlines Center (AAC). The AAC is a stunning 196,000 square foot facility that seats up to 5,000 spectators in the main arena and is a cornerstone of UAA's Anchorage campus. The Events Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of pre
- and post-booking service of ticketed events.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three years college coursework and three years progressively responsible experience in Event Management for an arena, stadium, convention center or other multi-purpose facility, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska Anchorage main campus in Anchorage. This is a full-time, term-funded, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
