The Berkeley City Club is a historic hotel, event space, restaurant and bar, and social club. In this role, you will guide clients through the private event process from inquiry to completion. You will be the go-to person for a variety of clientele, including corporate, weddings and social, membership, and team member appreciation events as well as group hotel blocks.Requirements:
Who You Are:
Self-starter who will support the Sales and Catering Managers to achieve sales targets and expand the business to meet budgetary needs Open and willing to work in a multicultural environment Highly organized with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, members, and team members High attention to detail Willingness to learn new tasks Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets Proficient in property management systems includingClubessential and ReserveCloud What You'll Bring:
1+ years of experience in event management preferred, Hospitality and/or Club industry is a plus An enthusiastic and proactive work ethic Ability to collaborate effectively both as a team or independently Excellent organizational skillsWhy You'll Love Us:
