Whether managing participant check-ins, assisting with event logistics, or maintaining safety protocols, your proactive approach will keep everything running seamlessly. Responsibilities Coordinate participant registration and check-in processes efficiently and accurately Assist in setting up and breaking down event venues, including equipment handling and manual lifting Enforce safety protocols and respond promptly to emergencies with first aid or CPR when necessary Manage guest services by providing clear information, directions, and support to participants and spectators Oversee conflict management by addressing disputes or issues calmly and professionally Support outdoor work activities, including setting up signage, barriers, and event stations in various weather conditions Handle cash transactions for registration fees or merchandise using POS systems while ensuring accurate processing of cash handling procedures Maintain safety standards through adherence to all safety protocols and proper manual handling techniques Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth event operations and a positive experience for all attendees Experience Previous experience in events management or hospitality is highly desirable Background in conflict management or customer service roles enhances your ability to handle challenging situations gracefully Lifeguard experience or CPR certification demonstrates your commitment to safety and emergency response readiness Experience working with children or in retail sales adds value to engaging with diverse participant groups Outdoor work experience or resort familiarity is beneficial for adapting to varied environments during events Theater experience or public speaking skills support effective communication with large audiences or groups Knowledge of food service operations or hospitality settings helps in managing concessions or event catering aspects Join us as a vital part of our Tournament Staff team—where energy meets organization, safety is paramount, and every event is an opportunity to make a positive impact!
