This role is for would be to sell toys and novelty items during the run of the Monterey County Fair. Monterey County Fair runs from September 2nd to September 7th, 2026. Responsibilities Ensuring the booth is stocked and organized. Provide outstanding customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Manage guest services during events, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly during events. Engage with guests through public speaking when necessary, providing information about the product being sold. Qualifications Strong conflict management skills to handle any issues that may arise during events. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Experience working with children Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with public speaking experience being beneficial. Cash handling experience is required for positions involving financial transactions.
