Responsibilities Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment, decorations, and materials are prepared and stored properly Support event planning activities by coordinating logistics, managing schedules, and communicating with vendors and clients Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns promptly Help manage event marketing efforts by promoting events through social media, signage, and direct outreach Facilitate upselling opportunities for catering services, event packages, or additional amenities to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue Oversee guest services during events, ensuring safety protocols are followed and guests have a positive experience Maintain organizational records including contracts, budgets, vendor contacts, and event timelines to ensure smooth operations Experience Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, hotel operations or banquet management is highly desirable Proven skills in negotiation, upselling, and customer service to foster positive relationships with clients and guests Strong background in event marketing and planning with an understanding of event management tools and techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of budgeting processes and contract management for events or catering services Experience in fundraising or guest services roles that emphasize hospitality and organizational skills is a plus Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse teams and clients to ensure successful event execution Join us as an Event Support Staff member where your enthusiasm meets your expertise!
