This is a fully on-site role in Palm Desert, California. What You'll Do The Event Services Manager supports the day-to-day execution of private events, group bookings, and special experiences atDSRT SURF.
Working under the Sales department, this role handles the behind-the-scenes coordination and sales system data entry that keeps events running smoothly, without owning client sales relationships. Enter and maintain event and booking details accurately in the sales and booking system Coordinate event logistics on-site, including setup, timing, vendor arrival, and communication with internal departments Serve as an on-site point of contact during events to ensure details match what was booked Track event and booking data, follow up items, and status updates for the Sales team Communicate with internal teams (Facilities, F&B, Guest Experience, Surf Ops) to confirm event needs are met Prepare event documentation such as BEOs, run sheets, floor plans, billing, and confirmations Support inventory and supply needs specific to events Assist with post-event wrap up, including data entry updates and internal recaps Build and maintain a preferred vendor list for events (rentals, florals, entertainment, and other event needs)Requirements:
What You Bring 3+ years of experience in event coordination or hospitality Strong attention to detail, especially with data entry and tracking accuracy Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules Clear, professional communication with internal teams and vendors Ability to stay organized while managing multiple events or bookings at once Experience with booking or CRM platforms Hotel or hospitality BEO (Banquet Event Order) experience preferred Who You Are You're detail-oriented and dependable. You like being on the ground during events, making sure every detail that was promised actually happens. You're comfortable working behind the scenes in a support role rather than being the one driving the sale. You take pride in being the person who keeps things accurate and on track. Compensation $70,500-$72,000 per hour | Exempt | Salary Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, and business needs. Schedule Expectations This is a full-time, in-person position. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts may be required based on business needs.
