Overview The Strategic Partnerships Assistant is responsible for assisting all team members in the management, execution and organization of the department to ensure the relationships with our corporate partners is executed to the highest level. Areas of work include helping to organize and maintain inventory for signage, print publications, in-arena promotions, education programming and hospitality events. Assistant will also support trade show director and education manager as needed.Reports to:
Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships Key Responsibilities Manage inventory process to ensure seamless execution of contractual assets leading up to NWSS. Manage signage process - ordering, tracking and inventory once on-site. Assists in the organization of all client contractual deliverables including print, digital media, social media, trade show, education, and on-site signage. Assist with partner hospitality events, including pre-event set up and greeting clients and their guests during NWSS Provides administrative support to the Strategic Partnerships team, including scheduling, filing, and data entry as needed. Assists with initial post-event wrap up information. The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position. You collaborate effectively with department colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless execution of partner contracts Qualifications Previous experience account management or administrative support is highly preferred. Familiarity with basic marketing or sponsorship terms and processes is a plus. Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Scheduling Requirements While the schedule for this position is primarily Monday-Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm, there will be certain occasions in which early morning, late evening, weekend, or holiday availability will be required to perform the essential functions of this position. Like almost all NWSS team members, this position will need to be on-site every day during Stock Show, typically for 12-16 hours at a time. Physical Demands National Western Complex is a multi-purpose indoor and outdoor commercial and agricultural complex where dusty conditions and animals may exist. While performing the duties of this job, work is performed both indoors and outside in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, wind, and rain, on varied surfaces. In this role, individuals will experience prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Incumbent must be able to lift 15 pounds and access/navigate the National Western Complex in its entirety, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation & Benefits This is a seasonal, hourly position with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. Paid sick time offered at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.WSSA/NWSS
