Full Job Description Events Coordinator:
We are looking for a professional Events Coordinator to coordinate and oversee our organization's events: museum programming, private rentals, field trips, and more. The Event Coordinator's main role is to oversee the entire event process, starting with outreach and intake for all three Museum of Graffiti locations in Wynwood. The specific duties of the event coordinator include formulating strategy, improving event procedures, fielding event inquiries, serving as vendor/client point of contact, invoicing, and more. The Events Coordinator reports directly to the General Manager Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for scheduling all field trips, private rentals, and private classes
  • Responsible for executing museum programming
  • Field inquiries & manage third party sites to promote rentals and events
  • Ensure company scheduling is up to date with all events
  • Stay knowledgeable about event styles and effective museum programming
  • Make presence known to clients at all times during the process
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
  • Oversee invoicing and billing for all events
  • Schedule & assist with Museum set up for special events, programs, & private rentals
  • Must be present for rentals and programming, or ensure proper coverage
  • Create an effective run-of-show for all events
  • Communicate with employees at all levels of the company
  • Neighborhood outreach (B2B) Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • A two-year post-secondary education and one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Established ability to produce sales results
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
  • Ability to operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead
Job Type:
